2nd edition of Run & Skate
Saturday, September 14th, 2019

Pleasant temperatures - sunny but not too hot - and a large field of starters created the ideal conditions for the second edition of our "Run & Skate". In the end, Mayor Karl Obermeier, as patron, presented trophies andCertificates. The event is part of the district and Sparkassen Laufcup.
We started with the "Bambini run" over 300 meters on the football field. A total of 22 boys and girls born in 2012 had registered for this run and were enthusiastically received by their mums and dads after the finish. And of course every participant received a medal and certificate. In the school run (U14 / U16) over 2.2km, seven participants were at the start.
The overall results of all runs performed can be found at race | resultbe seen.
The main run was staffed the most, which started around 3 p.m. and led to Mistlbach and back to the stadium at about 7.3 km via Penzing. 50 participants took part in this run, which demanded everything from one or the other participant. The first runners crossed the finish line after just under 30 minutes. Won the main run in the male Dr. Oliver Gerson (SVG Ruhstorf) in front of Walter Koschel (WSV Otterskirchen) and Michael Krull.
In the category Femalewon the main run Nicole Kufner (WSV Otterskirchen) ahead of Anita Cruchten (WSV Otterskirchen) and Silvia Königseder (DJK Laufwölfe Fürsteneck).

But it was not run, and the physical well-being was well taken care of that afternoon. The "Healthy Community" donated fresh fruit and juices to all participants and at the stand of TSV Aidenbach visitors and active people could refresh themselves with coffee, cake and delicious burgers as well as chilled drinks.
The Sporthaus Pritzl was represented with its own stand, where the runners could have a free run analysis carried out.

The event concluded for the first time this year with a "biathlon" relay; of course there was no shooting, the participants had to throw tennis balls into the goal wall. That turned out to be not so easy.

The final thanks to the organization team went to the numerous helpers and especially the members of the volunteer fire brigade for closing off the running routes and the BRK staff.
